One portion of Kenya Mission 2009 included providing free healthcare in two areas: (1) the town of Kilifi and (2) a small remote village. Here are my reports on each clinic. Below them are a few action photos taken at the clinics.

A team member (right) helps a patient understand how to take a medication. From the outhouse toilet to Esther's hand, this little African leopard frog(a.k.a., sewer frog) was asked to please find a new home. Abby, who ran the pharmacy at each clinic, prepares a patient's prescription. Wound care and personal comfort is provided to a number of Kilifi villagers. A national nurse, who spent his vacation time joining Kenya 2009 Mission's clinical efforts, examines a young patient. Scripture clearly shows God's promise to be the Master Healer of all His people. Jeremiah 33:6 "I will heal my people and let them enjoy abundant peace and security," says the Lord. <<< Click each small photo to enlarge it, read its caption, then reduce it. >>> |
